An old post...

This was a rant I posted awhile on DeviantART. I think others should check it out.

It seems as intelligence starts to decline, so does the quality of gaming. Apparently, you can't make a good game unless it has guns or is "dark" and "gritty". Nintendo says otherwise.

My first video game system was a Genesis. I played Sonic. Now, games like "Shadow the Hedgehog" spit at my childhood. My next system was a PS1, which I loved so much that I bought a PS2 years later...BUT, my point is, the reason I loved the PS1 was because of games like Crash Bandicoot. Naughty Dog became one of my favorite developers. Then they created the "Jak and Daxter" franchise which I also loved. Though "Jak II" had guns, they were still cartoony and fun. I decided not to even play "Jak III" though because it took a more somber tone, apparently. Now, Naughty Dog comes out with a realistic game centered around guns (Uncharted: Drakes Ruin) on the ever popular, PS3.

Also, how is "Halo 3" innovative? According to a video game awards show, "Halo 3" is the most innovative game of the year.

And another thing, how many more first person shooters do we really need? There are thousands on them on the Xbox360!

I hate to rant, but I'd just like to express my opinions. Nintendo is the best thing (In my opinion) that has happened to video gaming since, forever. I'm not a fanboy. Just a fan.

And finally, Guitar Hero is not hardcore. Neither is Rock Band. Thank you and Merry Christmas.

My first post!

Well, I decided to post something. I'm in quite a predicament. Ever since E3 2006, when Super Smash Bros. Brawl was shown, I've been creaming in my pants over every daily update Masahiro Sakurai graced my eye sockets with. Up until recently though, I always thought the PSP was a piece of shit. Then I bought one (mainly for Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, but I've been hooked on other games)...

Now, I've had a PS2 for a long time, and I loved God of War. Now, I find out there is a God of War game coming out on the PSP, and it's supposed to be the best PSP game! IT COMES OUT FUCKIN' TOMORROW! BRAWL COMES OUT SUNDAY! WHICH DO I BUY FIRST?!

Though by problem does seem kinda selfish...I'll stick with God of War. It's cheaper, and portable. Smash Bros., looks like you're delayed another time for me.
